What you send us
If you use the submission or contact form we keep what you typed and the e-mail address you gave, so that we can reply and so we can tell whether we have already heard from you. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass any of it to anyone else.
Ask us to delete it and we will, without asking why.
Measurement
We use analytics to see which pieces are read and roughly where readers are, in aggregate. It tells us that a piece was read in Berlin, not who read it. We do not build profiles of individual readers and we do not run advertising trackers.
Things we embed
Records and videos play in the platform’s own player — Bandcamp, Spotify, YouTube, Vimeo. When you press play, that platform sees the request and applies its own privacy policy, which we do not control. Nothing from them loads until you press play.
Cookies
The site itself does not need a cookie to show you an article. An embedded player may set its own once you start it.
